The national registration fee for new cub scouts is $105. This includes a one-time joining fee of $25 and an annual fee of $80.
When you sign up for scouts at https://pack1550.us/join, you are paying national fees.
The national membership fee helps cover the cost of essential services, including program resources, liability insurance for those participating in approved Scouting activities, criminal background checks, youth protection, and the development of intellectual property for national, council, and unit programs.
Optional: For only $15 for the year, Cub Scouts may subscribe to Scout Life magazine when signing up.
To cover the costs of pack activities for the year, we charge a fee of $125. This covers the following costs throughout the school year:
- Rank and achievement awards.
- Campground reservation costs.
- District events, including Rocket Day, and Pushmobile.
- Major events, including Blue & Gold, Pinewood, End of year party.
- A pack “Class B” t-shirt.
- Pack meeting resources.
We accept cash or check but prefer a Zelle payment directed to firstname.lastname@example.org. We can accept these fees in installments if needed.
